Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This policy describes cookies and similar browser storage used by Surrey Wood Products, trading as Surrey Laser Products. Local storage can keep information on your device in a similar way to cookies, even though it is not sent automatically with every web request.
What this site uses
The account system uses essential browser storage to remember your authenticated session and allow access to your own orders and artwork features. This storage supports the sign-in service you request. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers in this website.
| Storage | Purpose | Duration and control |
|---|---|---|
Supabase authentication session in local storage, normally named sb-zgugztbqgwsgraynpsni-auth-token | Stores the session information needed to keep you signed in and authenticate account requests. | Persistent browser storage has no automatic cookie expiry. It can remain between visits until you sign out, clear site data, or the account system removes it. Token validity and session expiry are managed separately by the authentication service. |
Essential authentication storage is used for account functionality, not advertising profiling. Merely changing calculator inputs does not create a separate saved quote in browser storage; submitting an enquiry or order sends information as described in our Privacy Policy.
External services
Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver fonts and website assets. Supabase supports account and order features, and Formspree receives forms when you submit them. Requests to these services share technical information such as your IP address and browser request details. Loading an external resource is not itself the same as setting a cookie.
If you follow a link to another website, its own privacy and cookie information applies. If optional tracking technologies are introduced here, we will explain them and obtain consent before using them where the law requires it.
Managing browser storage
You can sign out through the account menu. You can also use your browser's site-data settings to inspect or remove cookies and local storage for this website. Blocking or deleting authentication storage may sign you out or stop account functions working; public service pages can still be read.
There are no optional analytics or advertising settings to switch on for the current site, so we do not display an accept-all cookie banner. This does not prevent you from using browser controls to manage essential storage.
