FAQ

What file formats do you accept?
We accept AI, DXF, PDF, SVG, PNG, and JPG files. For cutting jobs, vector formats (AI, DXF, SVG) give the best results. For engraving, high-resolution raster images work well. We'll review your file before confirming the quote and let you know if any adjustments are needed.
How long does an order take?
Most standard orders are turned around within 3–5 working days from artwork approval. For urgent requirements, please call us on 01932 872944 and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Large production runs or non-standard materials may take slightly longer.
What materials can you cut or engrave?
We work with a very wide range including acrylic, wood, MDF, plywood, leather, cork, rubber, silicone, fibre gasket sheet, foam board, slate, anodised metals, glass, and most plastics. If you have an unusual material, please get in touch and we'll advise on suitability.
Do you offer trade / volume discounts?
Yes. Our quote calculator automatically applies quantity discounts from 5 units upward — up to 35% off for orders of 50+. For ongoing trade accounts or very large volumes, please contact us directly to discuss a bespoke pricing arrangement.
How accurate is the instant quote?
The online calculator gives a reliable estimate based on material, size, complexity and quantity. The final confirmed price may vary slightly after we review your artwork — for example if the design is significantly more complex than the calculator assumes, or if specialist fixings are required. We'll always confirm the exact price before proceeding.
Can I supply my own material?
Yes, in most cases. Please contact us first so we can confirm the material is compatible with our systems and advise on how to prepare and ship it. A cutting/engraving-only rate applies when you supply the material.
Do you deliver UK-wide?
Yes — we ship orders across the whole of the UK via courier. Most standard orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days of artwork approval. We can also arrange same-day or next-day courier for urgent jobs. Collection from our workshop in Ottershaw, Surrey is also available.
Can I order laser cutting online?
Yes — our instant quote calculators give you an estimated price in seconds based on your material, size, and complexity. Once you're happy with the estimate, create an account, upload your artwork, and we'll confirm the final price within one business day. The whole process can be done entirely online.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No minimum order — we cut single pieces just as readily as production runs of hundreds. Quantity discounts apply automatically from 5 units upward. For very large or recurring orders, contact us to discuss a trade account.
